The Electronic Visa (eVisa) is a type of visa that has been introduced by the Government of Kenya for foreign visitors. It was developed to simplify the application process and minimize time spent visiting embassies and waiting on appointments. eVisas have since then been implemented in several countries.
For all foreign nationals who need to travel to Kenya for tourism, business, or medical reasons, a visa is required. The Kenyan Government introduced eVisa in the year 2016 to ease procedures for citizens of countries that cannot be issued a visa through an embassy or a Kenyan High Commission.
Visitors to Kenya need to apply for a visa prior to their arrival in the country. The eVisa is the most convenient way to apply for your Kenyan Visa, as it is less costly compared to other methods of applying and more convenient.
