Ol Pejeta Conservancy is playing a critical role in the conservation of endangered rhino species, including black rhinos, northern white rhinos, and southern white rhinos. With a population of over 165 eastern black rhinos, they are the largest black rhino sanctuary in East and Central Africa.
Ol Pejeta has also partnered with other organizations to establish a breeding program for the critically endangered northern white rhino, of which only two of them remain in the world. Additionally, each school group is allowed 2 teachers to enter for free, provided they are accompanied by a group of at least 10 students and have a letter from a recognized learning institution.
